CATTLE FARM FOR SALE
This beautiful property, measuring 7 140 ha, is located approximately 50 km to the west of Outjo. The topography and landscape consist of plains, rivulets, small hills, koppies and mountains. The vegetation can be described as open mopani grassland. Some areas have been cleared of bush, resulting in good grass production. The vegetation is dominated by mopani and acacia trees and bush complimented by several smaller edible bush species. It is a water rich area allowing irrigation on a small scale. There are 12 boreholes on the property with capacities varying between 3 and 22,5 m³/hour. Previously the property has been used for game farming, but the current owner is a cattle farmer and he is in the process to sub-divide the land in several camps for controlled veldt management. Five camps have been completed so far. A portion of the land is game fenced. The property is also suitable for sheep and goat farming. Game species on the property such as kudu, oryx, zebra, Damara dik-dik, duiker and steenbok, are roaming freely on the land and several open drinking spots were established for them. Two earth dams were recently constructed. Other infrastructure include a loading ramp, handling kraals and the farmstead with two well-constructed houses. Electricity is provided by a solar system and a backup genset.
